Over five days and 100km of walking, you’ll cross the vast, untamed beauty of the Bo-Karoo in South Africa’s Northern Cape in the vicinity of the small town Vosburg.
Your all inclusive, slackpacking adventure comes with hearty farm meals and welcoming accommodation on working Karoo farms. The route is of moderate difficulty, offering a rewarding challenge without being overly strenuous.
Whether you’re an experienced hiker or simply looking for time to unwind and reconnect, the Vosburg Camino invites you to walk, reflect, and experience the Karoo in a way you’ll never forget.

During these months you can enjoy milder weather conditions and the tranquil beauty of the Karoo at its best. We pause during the extreme weather months, the cold of June and July, and the heat of November to February.
What is Included

Accommodation (5 Nights) – Comfortable stays on local farms, in houses usually reserved for the winter hunting season.
Support Services – Five days of walking, with back-up vehicle support and shuttle transfers provided where needed.

Slackpacking Service – Your luggage will be transported between overnight stops. All you’ll need to carry each day is a light daypack with water, snacks, and lunch.
